If you don’t tell them, who will?

Let us rise up and do what GOD has called us to do………Go and tell about the true living GOD… “This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent.”  2Ki 7:9  If you don’t tell them, who will? The Syrian army had surrounded the city of Samaria and nothing could get in or out. It was a desperate situation. Eventually the inhabitants began starving to death. Four lepers who’d been quarantined and forced to live outside the city walls decided to go into the Syrian camp hoping to find mercy, and maybe food and water. But when they got there they discovered an army of angels had scattered the Syrians, who fled leaving behind food, water, clothing, and treasure. These four men couldn’t believe their good fortune! They ate, drank, exchanged their rags for fine clothing, gathered treasure and hid it where they could find it later. Then they remembered that in Samaria their own people were hungry, thirsty, needy, sick, and dying. And they were faced with the dilemma: Do we...

Don’t use profanity

Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing! “Whatever is in the heart overflows into speech.”  Lk 6:45 Don’t use profanity When you resort to profanity it proves the truth of God’s Word: “No man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God…and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God” (James 3:8-9). Profane language is unbecoming to a redeemed child of God. So why do we do it? First: We lack the adequate vocabulary to express ourselves and feel we must swear in order for our words to have impact. Second: We resort to profanity to release our frustration with the situation. Either way, we’ve developed an ungodly pattern of expressing our displeasure, and we need to restrain ourselves. Jesus said: “A good person produces good deeds from a good heart. And an evil [person] produces evil deeds from his hidden wickedness. Whatever is in the heart overflows into speech.” Acknowledging that profani...

God can't bless complainers

Stop complaining………this is not from GOD. “So Moses brought their case before the Lord.”  Nu 27:5  Constructive complaining When you get a reputation as a complainer, people will begin to avoid you. There’s an interesting story in the Old Testament about the five daughters of Zelophehad. Here was their problem. Their father had died in the wilderness before the Israelites entered the Promised Land. He had no sons to inherit his land, and the law didn’t allow women to receive it. Consequently, without a father, brothers, husbands, sons, or other men in their immediate family, Zelophehad’s daughters were left out completely. It wasn’t fair, but it was the law. So rather than complaining to others, the sisters presented their “petition for an inheritance” to Moses and the leaders. And When Moses brought their case before God, He agreed with the women and granted their request (See Nu 27:1-11). Now, what do you think the outcome would’ve been if they’d gone around w...

You are blessed and GOD’s favour is upon you!

You are blessed and GOD’s favour is upon you! so Don’t give the room to enemy who is a deceiver……who makes you feel u r not worthy of GOD’s blessing and favour. “I know that thou favourest me.”  Ps 41:11 The reason for the attack The Devil doesn’t want you to know that God’s favor is on your life, or that you’ve been blessed by Him with all the good things you enjoy. The truth is, the Devil doesn’t want you to think God has done anything good for you at all! He will try to convince you that you have no purpose, power, or potential. He will play the race card, and if that doesn’t work he’ll play the childhood memories card. If that doesn’t work, he will remind you of all the disappointments you’ve been through in life. And if you buy what he’s selling you’ll end up with such self-doubt and low self-esteem you won’t believe God has blessed you in any way, or that He has a wonderful plan for your life. But He has! No matter how limited your ability or lackluster your acc...

Quarreling is harmful to oneself.

Quarreling  is harmful to oneself. (From the fruit of their lips people enjoy good things- Proverb 13:2) The Lord’s servant must not quarrel.”  2Ti 2:24  Don’t quarrel, and avoid people who do Let’s consider why some people are given to quarreling:  (1) They grew up in homes where it was a pattern so they think it’s normal. It may be normal, but it’s certainly not Christlike. The Bible says, “Avoiding a fight is a mark of honor; only fools insist on quarreling” (Pr 20:3).  (2) To boost their self-worth. Some folks only feel good about themselves when they’re attacking the validity of somebody else’s opinions and beliefs, and maneuvering that person into defending their position. The quarreler’s goal isn’t to add value to other people’s lives by showing them the error of their ways; it’s pure one-upmanship. Solomon says, “Starting a quarrel is like opening a floodgate, so stop before a dispute breaks out” (Pr 17:14). Does that mean you s...

Forgive……and let it go…….

Forgive……and let it go……. “If you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you.”  Mk 11:25  You must forgive them When asked which emotions contribute most to physical illness, a group of eminent doctors said, “Anger and unforgiveness.” That’s because over time they release deadly toxins into your body. One doctor said, “It’s not what you are eating, but what’s eating you that threatens your health.” When someone hurts you, there are four things you should do:  (1) Talk to them. Now, there’s a right time, a right place, and a right way to do it. Before you say anything, ask God to guide your thoughts and words. Then say what’s in your heart in a loving, low-key, nonjudgmental way. After that, leave the rest with God. He can do a better job of changing things than you can. (2) Don’t retaliate. When you’re tempted to lash out at someone, stop and remember the price Jesus paid to take away the sins you commit....

How to pray

How food is essential for body to grow so is the Prayer essential to grow in the Lord! “Your Father knows exactly what you need!”  Mt 6:8  How to pray Jesus said: “When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!”. When people say, “I don’t know how to pray,” what they usually mean is that they don’t know how to pray like us. They don’t know how to use our “Christian jargon.” Jesus says you don’t need to worry about getting the words right because “your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him.” God’s listening to our hearts more than our words. We don’t have to be self-conscious; He’s not grading us on how well we express ourselves. Compare prayer to breathing. You breathe instinctively without awareness and conscious attention; it’s a natural expres...

Don’t talk too much! “Study to be quiet.” 1Th 4:11

Tongue doesn’t have bone………..who can control it? The one who fears the LORD………Only GOD alone can Judge all. “Study to be quiet.”  1Th 4:11 Don’t talk too much! Dr. Joe R. Brown of Rochester, Minnesota, tells of the frustration he encountered while trying to take a physical history on a patient. The man’s wife kept answering every question. Finally, Dr. Brown requested that she leave the room. But after she left he discovered that her husband couldn’t speak. Calling the wife back, Dr. Brown apologized for not realizing the man had aphasia—loss of speech—and couldn’t speak a word. The wife was even more astonished—because she didn’t know either! The Bible says there’s “a time to be silent and a time to speak” (Ecc 3:7 ). Why? Because communicating too little can destroy a relationship, and so can talking too much. Sometimes we talk because we’re lonely and have few opportunities to speak to others; other times it’s because we love the sound of our own voice. Whatever yo...

Remember To Say Thank You. Saying Thank you or appreciating someone everyday will change your day.

Saying Thank you or appreciating someone everyday will change your day. “God’s people should be bighearted and courteous.”  Tit 3:2  Remember To Say Thank You Gratitude comes with a host of benefits. It improves your heart rhythm, reduces stress, and helps you heal physically and think more clearly under pressure. It floods your body and brain with endorphins that strengthen and rejuvenate you. And like any muscle, the more you exercise it the stronger it grows. It doesn’t have to be complicated; just take a walk and think about your blessings and it will set the tone for your day. The Psalmist said, “Praise the Lord and do not forget all his kindnesses” (Ps 103:2). God’s blessings operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Try this: When you sit down to eat, have everyone at the table name something they’re thankful for. There’s always something: An elderly lady at a nursing home said, “I thank you, Lord, for two good teeth, one upper and one lower. And I thank yo...

Through Jesus Christ, You Can Conquer Your Habits

Through Jesus Christ, You Can Conquer Your Habits Everything can be conquered in area’s you are struggling with but through whom……..Answer is hidden in this message……. “Think carefully about…Jesus.”  Heb 3:1  Through Christ, You Can Conquer Your Habits Let’s say you’re trying to lose weight, but you love doughnuts. How can you overcome temptation? By repeating, “I must not eat doughnuts—I must not eat doughnuts—I must not eat doughnuts”? No, the more you think about doughnuts, the more you’re going to want them. Instead you must focus on something else (or someone else—Jesus!) who can help you overcome the temptation. Your problem is not in the doughnut shop, it’s in your mind. That’s where victory is won or lost. Paul writes: “Dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the...

If we Trust in GOD’s sovereignty , HE will shower his Blessing upon us!

If we Trust in GOD’s sovereignty , HE will shower his Blessing upon us! ONE HUNDRED TIMES ZERO IS ZERO MATTHEW 17:24-27 This was quite a miracle. Not only was the money supplied for their taxes, but it was the exact amount needed, and it was from the first fish that was caught. Although this sets the precedent that God can supply our needs in a miraculous way, it's important to remember that God doesn't counterfeit money. He didn't create money in the fish, but rather he had the fish miraculously find and swallow the exact Roman coin that Peter needed. It's a mistake to just pray and then wait on God to rain the money down from heaven. As Luke 6:38 says, God uses men (and sometimes fish) to give finances to us. He can do it in a very unexpected, supernatural way but it will involve people and existing currency. We need to believe the Lord hears and answers our prayers and then pray for the people He's going to use to deliver the answer. This could be...

Do not complain.” Jas 5:9

Do not complain.”  Jas 5:9   Go on a Complaining Fast       Whatever you keep doing becomes a habit. That’s why James says, “Do not complain.” Author Jon Gordon says, “A complaining fast won’t just make everyone around you happier…you’ll experience more joy, peace, success and positive relationships.” So instead of complaining when things go wrong:   (1) Practice gratitude. Giving thanks for three blessings every day energizes you and makes you feel happier. It’s impossible to be grateful and negative at the same time.   (2) Encourage others. Instead of complaining about what people do wrong, focus on what they’re doing right. “Encourage…people who are afraid. Help those who are weak. Be patient with everyone” (1Th 5:14 NCV). It’s okay to critique people’s weaknesses as long as you balance it with three times more praise.   (3) Focus on your success. Start a success journal. Every night before you go to bed, write down ...

HA HA I KNEW YOU BEFORE YOU WERE BORN!

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;your works are wonderful,I know that full well. Psalm 139:14 As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you. Isaiah 66:13 These are the ones I look on with favor:those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word. Isaiah 66 :2 “These are the ones I look on with favor:  those who are humble and contrite in spirit,  and who tremble at my word.   Isaiah 66 :2 “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be? Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?” declares the Lord. Isaiah 66:1-2 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. 2 Peter 3:13-14

CHRISTMAS IS IT IN THE BIBLE ?

"HEAR YE THE WORD WHICH THE LORD SPEAKETH UNTO YOU." (Jeremiah 10:1) What does the term 'CHRISTMAS' conjure up in your mind and heart, and what do you associate it with? Is it gifts, trees, 'Santa Claus', family gatherings, arguments, the manger, envy, strife, tinsel, depression, parties, drinking, fighting, gossiping, and, oh yes, Jesus? Do you 'really' set aside the 25th day of December to fully and completely love and worship The LORD? Or, is it a means to an end, a day off, a holiday, an excuse to 'party' in The Name of Jesus. Obviously, only you can answer your own motives and reasons. DO YOU CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS ? Do you celebrate Christmas simply because it's a tradition, or because others expect you to? Again, only you can truly answer this most important question. If you are remembering the birth of Y'shua (Jesus) on Christmas day, then, shouldn't you worship Jesus; love Jesus; speak of Jesus; sin...

An Encounter with God

In Genesis 18 the patriarch Abraham has a dramatic encounter with God. His meeting with God provides us with a wealth of insights into who God is and how He relates to us humans. Genesis 18:1-2 The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. [2] Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. “The LORD” in verse 1 who appeared to Abraham is Jehovah (or alternatively, Yahweh), one of the Bible’s names for God. And “the LORD” appeared in the visible form of “three men”, a symbol of God’s existence as a Trinity. A classic definition of the Holy Trinity is: “There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” Vs. 1 The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat o...

What are barcodes? Is the barcode paving the road to 666: the Mark of the Beast?

The mark of the beast is found in Revelation 13:16-18: "Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666" (Also in Revelation 14:9, 11; 15:2; 16:2; 19:20; 20:4.). What is this mark and why is it important? Several things can be stated. The mark of the beast will mark an important fulfillment of prophecy during the terrible judgments of the last days. However, those living today are called to read this prophecy and choose to follow Jesus today, knowing that heaven awaits those who believe in Him (John 3:16) while judgment awaits those who reject God's Son. Barcodes, of course, are those ever-familiar "bars" and "numbers...
