We walk through life one day at a time
Not realizing our anointing
Recognizing neither reason or rhyme
Or in what direction destiny is pointing
 
Self discovery a wonder
Truthfully seeing just who we are
Reaching down under
The journey just isn't that far
 
What the mirror reflects, you cannot undo
The uniqueness evolving
in the creation of you
Around which is revolving
 
Your anointing
 
What makes you special
What role you must play
The divine differential
In what you do and you say
 
Find your strength and embracing the power
Using your gifts
Each waking minute and hour
Energy suddenly shifts
 
Within your mind and your soul
The key then unlocks
Far beyond mortal control
Where your talents are stocked
 
The secret is sharing and daily use
Finding direction
Eliminating abuse
In the purest connection
 
Fulfilling
your
Anointing

The difference between Samson and Samuel

Everyone has a choice....to become Samson or Samuel!! ‘Time would fail me to tell of…Samson…and Samuel.’ Hebrews 11:32  Samson and Samuel are mentioned in the same Scripture, but there are big differences between them. You ask, ‘Why should I be interested?’ Because as a Christian, you are like them. Each had a miraculous birth, so they’re a picture of those who’ve been born again and called to serve God. Paul writes, ‘These things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition…Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall’ 1 Corinthians 10:11-12 . Difference one: Finances. Samson was greedy and manipulating, whereas Samuel practised integrity. If you've been in the church for more any amount of time, you've probably heard a lot of the “big names” in the Bible—people like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Noah, Peter, Paul, Elijah—the guys who did big, amazing things for the Lord.
